SUCCESS FROM THE START

Jazeera Swimming Club (JSC) was founded on 30 September, 1954 under Flag No. 3905 - issued from the Lebanese Ministry of Interior. JSC was established by its founding members Mr. Omar Mahgoub, Mr. Mounir Shoman, Mr. Mahmoud Arnaout, Mr. Mohammed Khair Al Turk, and the late Judge Mr. Hassan Tamim. More 60 years down the line, JSC is still commitment to excellence and driven by educational core values including integrity in all activities, respect in all its relationships and collegiality to encourage coaches and athletes to work together for a better society.

تأسس نادي الجزيرة الرياضي لسباحة في 30 سبتمبر 1954 بموجب علم و خبر رقم 3905 - الصادر عن وزارة الداخلية اللبنانية. تألف المجلس التأسيسي من السيد عمر محجوب ، السيد منير شومان ، السيد محمود أرناؤوط ، السيد محمد خير الترك ، والقاضي الراحل السيد حسن تميم. بعد مرور أكثر 60 عامًا على تأسيسه ، حافظ نادي الجزيرة الرياضي لسباحة على التميز والقيادة في جميع الأنشطة. وعمل جاهداً من أجل تشجيع المدربين والرياضيين على العمل معًا لمجتمع أفضل.

VISION STATEMENT

Young athletes who participate in organized sports activities have a unique opportunity for learning. We believe that the experience of children and young athletes in all organized sports should be guided by what is best for the safe and healthy development of the athlete. In working with each swimmer, it is essential that we are mindful of their physical, emotional, and developmental needs. JSC is particularly diligent in recognizing these unique strengths and vulnerabilities that are an inherent part of each swimmer. Hence, It is JSC's responsibility to develop the knowledge and programs needed to create and maintain a safe and professional sports environment that would sustain a consistent growth for our swimmers.

الرؤية العامة للنادي

الشباب الرياضيين الذين يشاركون في الأنشطة الرياضية المنظمة لديهم فرصة فريدة للتعلم. نؤمن أن تجربة الأطفال والرياضيين الشباب في جميع أشكال الرياضة يجب أن تسترشد بما هو أفضل من أجل التنمية الآمنة والصحية للرياضي. في العمل مع كل سباح ، من الضروري أن ندرك احتياجاتهم الجسدية والعاطفية والتنموية. نادي الجزيرة الرياضي مجتهد بشكل خاص في التعرف على نقاط القوة والضعف الفريدة التي تشكل جزءًا لا يتجزأ من كل سباح. وبالتالي ، فمن مسؤولية النادي تطوير والحفاظ على بيئة مستقرة ومستدامة من شأنها أن تحافظ على نمو ثابت للسباحين لدينا.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Jazeera Swimming Club (JSC) is to empower young people to be champions in and out of the water.

مهمة نادي الجزيرة الرياضي لسباحة هي تمكين الشباب من أن يكونوا أبطالاً في الماء ,كما في مجتمعهم.

BOARD OF TRUSTEES

As per General assembly meeting Dated 28-April 2018, JSC elected its Board of Trustees as per the below:

Vice President: Kadri Aweida
General secretary: Adel Yamout
Treasurer: Nassib Saab
Board member: Wassim Nadder
Board member: Zeina Monzer
Board member: Hani Qantari

The current board will expire on 27-April 2022.

NEW MEMBERS

With the help of this grant funding, the Club continued to fast grow with the number of all age swimmers.

Above all Oxygen Club operated in a friendly fun filled environment where the focus was solely on all members.

JUNIOR TEAM

From the start, Club’s members act in accordance with the Swim Code Comprehensive of Conduct and Ethics.

CHAMPIONS

The swim programme consists of one 30 min. session per week and all children are grouped on best ability.
